Posting Requirements:
A completed B.Com (Financial Accounting) degree, coupled with 3+ years related experience, preferably within an Agricultural / Manufacturing concern high advantageous.
KPI’s include:
- assisting the FM in the timely preparation of management statements, budgets, VAT returns, bank, petty cash, inventory and journal processing;
- input and manage financial data on Pastel; set-up customer, inventory, pricing and transport tariffs in their system as well as Pastel; assist in product costing and margin analysis;
- assist with performing external and internal audits to ensure compliance;
- general financial office administration; assist in the yearly budgeting process and ensure appropriate accounting policies are applied during the preparation of the yearly budgets;
- oversee debtors and creditors functions and review invoices and reconciliations;
- analyze raw material stock variances and reconcile packaging, finished goods, diesel and cleaning stock inventories;
- compare actual expenditure against budget on a regular basis and report to relevant departments;
- ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards and audit practices;
- prepare and present regular accounting and operational reports to the FM;
- fixed asset management, handling insurance coverage and vehicle licensing and adhoc functions.
- Own transport and valid license essential. Successful incumbent will need to travel to another operation in Magaliesburg as and when needed.
- Position would suit a candidate who lives in or around the West Rand.
