Placement Responsibilities:
- Preparing Consolidation and company financial statements in compliance with IFRS requirements
- Assisting with reviewing subsidiary financial statements
- Assist with collating information for the preparation of income tax and provisional tax computations including reviewing foreign subsidiary tax calculations and ensuring timeous submission of related returns
- Collating information for subsidiary VAT and statutory return submissions
- Accurately preparing and processing all monthly journals and standard journals
- Preparation of loan amortization schedules as well as IFRS-related calculations
- Preparation of monthly analysis reports for management
- Assist with the budgeting process
- Assist with month-end reporting
- Assist with coordinating year-end audits and compiling information required for audits
Posting Requirements:
- Tertiary education- Accounting, Tax, or Finance Degree (Essential)
- SAIPA or SAICA articles (Advantageous)
- IFRS, tax, group reporting and multicurrency consolidation experience (Essential)
- FMCG or retail experience (Essential)
- CaseWare experience (Essential)
- Syspro Experience (Advantageous)
